Professional Scarifying

Bid farewell to thatch build-up

Service Description

What is Scarifying?

Scarifying involves using rotating blades on a machine to cut into the lawn and pull out layers of dead grass, thatch, and moss that can smother the grass. This aggressive removal helps to open up the lawn for better air, water, and nutrient circulation.

Why Scarify Your Lawn?

  • Thatch Removal: Eliminates thick layers of thatch that can suffocate the grass and inhibit healthy growth.
  • Improved Soil Aeration: Enhances aeration, which is essential for strong root development.
  • Better Water Penetration: Allows rainwater and irrigation to reach the roots more effectively.
  • Encourages New Growth: Severing the grass blades can trigger new shoots and lateral growth, leading to a fuller, greener lawn.

    Best Times:
The ideal times are in the early spring (October/November) or early autumn (March/May in Sunraysia) when the grass is actively growing.
